Game DVR Idea Drive
I suggest for the future you guys come up with a way for us to record or capture our game play offline. Longer recording times, handling recording, and other aspects of Game DVR could be improved. I have all these games that I want to make a lets play series for but I fail due to network issues and poor quality.

1440p recording is needed
If We Could get this feature it would be good for people who don’t like doing voiceovers , reactions from a trick shot , nice play etc. But Overall This Idea is On Playstation it would be great for microsoft

Can you please add a feature where we record party chat or game chat while recording in DVR because I have and external hard drive and I record on there but I can never record my voice or my friends ease add this

I would love to have control over the recorded framerate (30fps / 60fps) and bitrate, when connected to an external drive.
For example the Xbox One X can record 4K 60fps at 24mbps. In most cases I would like to record 4K30 at 40mbps or 4K60 at 80.
Having control over these settings would be lovely to improve quality to captured footage.

It would be great if you added the option to also capture voice from the party chat or even the game chat itself. The PS4 allows you to do this, I don't see why we can't have it here.
I suggest to listen party's audio or of our microphone in games DVR

A button preset too on the controller would be helpful. Having to click the home, then the rec button which causes the game to pause is somewhat annoying.
It should be a fluid action to activate DVR, not one which you have to do quickly, especially if the game is multiplayer.
I was really annoyed that I couldn’t capture my headset mic when capturing gaming moments. I want to create YouTube videos and I can’t do it on pc because I can’t afford it. It would really mean a lot if you could add this!
To me, the most enjoyable part of multiplayer in a party is the context leading up to a hilarious and/or awesome moment, and the reactions after the moment fails or succeeds. Captures, as they stand now, while still "cool", are really bland without the ability to capture both the gameplay and audio of the game AND the audio from the party in sync. This feature should be implemented to make sharing your favorite multiplayer moments more rewarding. I can't imagine the integration would be THAT difficult, but even if it was, it's worth the investment so players don't have to go spend hundreds of dollars on 3rd party capture equipment.

Basically when we record a gameclip for future reference we get to see the funny/epic/weird moments of our past. But one thing that we don't get to hear is our friends or even our own commentary. I think that adding a check mark in the party to "include audio in gameclips" would be one of my favorite updates period.
Longer game clip time. Also please add it to where you can hear your mic in the gameclips :(

Party Chat On DVR! It´s not the same without the Comentary!
Party chat ‘opt in’ feature to give permission for voice recording with game dvr. We use the opt in system for streaming so why not allow it in game clips? Maybe X to record that as normal and hold X to record that with party chat included if the members of the party give permission?

Make screenshots and folders save in separate folders by the game they come from, otherwise they are hard to browse

I want to be able to hear the people in a party talking on a game capture.
PLEASE MAKE AN UPDATE ABOUT THIS

Upload Studio needs better features for create better gameclips like slow motion ,fast forward and clips you can let run and record from end to begin , underlay your own music or create picture books which shows your favorite gaming screenshots, mark your friends own intro's or short game GIF's which you can share or use as video comment to customize your gaming home profile

Give us the option to record voice and party chat on game dvr, or maybe record the screen rather than the game (options for ignoring overlay and partychat/voice) just all together make game dvr less useless
I hate the way game chat voice comms are not recorded with the Game audio using the game DVR capture.
I like to upload to youtube the gaming footage, but while ps4 players can use the inbuilt recorded to record everything, the Xbox One is miles behind in that regard. Recording party chat is awful as the sound levels are dire and the sound mixing is never right.
Just allow us to record in the in gaem chat. The levels are balanced and it makes more sense to allow something that PS4 without question.
When HDR/WCG is enabled in Windows 10, add the ability to record:
1 - HDR games in HDR video format.
2 - SDR games, tone-mapped (contained) in HDR video format.
OR in case the above is not possible due to limitations of hardware encoder:
1 - record HDR games, tone-mapped into SDR video format.
2 - record SDR games as usual.
3 - record SDR games, tone-mapped into SDR video format, if Windows tone-mapped the application into HDR in the first place (borderless/windowed).
When using game DVR, be able to record both usb headset audio and desktop audio
