An Idea Drive for Mixer broadcasting Features and Improvements
Vote and comment on ideas for improving broadcasting via Mixer on Xbox One consoles and PC.
being able to set resolution when using Lightstream with mixer.
Mixer Overlay to be able to set the transparency
Being able to use usb microphone would be nice.

Something really simple like allowing usb microphones to be used.
Headsets are generally inferior to dedicated mics and certainly would help mixer in being realistic competitors to YouTube and twitch.
I have stopped streaming on mixer for this reason and now focus on recorded content on YouTube but would love for mixer to add usb mic support
The stream status bar makes it seem like you guys don’t care about console streamers at all. Why am I forced to play with a 4 inch blue bar across my screen. Moving it does nothing. Make it so I can choose to make it transparent. Anything would help, you can just make it a tiny red box with a red circle to show your live and a pause symbol to show when your not. But it’s ugly to look at and it DOES affect gameplay.
Make the interface togglable and have an option to make it transparent. At the moment its very intrusive to the gaming experience.
The interface for reviewing captures is terrible. It darkens the video, the interface overlay is huge and clunky to work with. Just use a simple timeline for scrubbing and a smaller bar for other options.
Chroma Key....please add chroma key for mixer. This is so basic. You are forcing people to buy a computer to do what you can do.
Mixer Overlay to be able to set the transparency of it
I think a good idea would be the ability to make overlays on widows 10, and be able to send them to your Xbox account to use them while streaming to mixer and twitch. I’m a Xbox twitch streamer and that would come in handy a lot
Ability to hide the overlay. It consistently covers UI components wherever it is on the screen.
Users with Kinect should have an option to use Xbox Avatars to appear as themselves instead of the camera feed.
Ability to hide the Mixer/Twitch Broadcast overlay. I usually have my cellphone or tablet open to my stream for chat purposes so I find it unnecessary to have the Broadcast overlay on screen especially if it covers up something needed in the HUD.

I'm new to streaming. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but it could be improved. I started streaming directly with the xbox broadcast feature. it works great but I cant have an exciting overlay, plus the chat box covering a large portion of my screen is a hinderance. I purchased a capture card so I can dive deeper. now i'm getting things going the way I want, except I cant hear myself. I would like to be able to capture my voice over/my parties chat over the capture card
TL;DR please change the chat box on xbox broadcast feature, its big and inconvenient, and I would like to be able to stream my own and my party chat through capture card.
Make it we’re u can add music and custom overlays on mixer this would give a boost to mixer over twitch

Give us options to set bitrate, resolution, and FPS. If the twitch app can do the Mixer app should at least have those options to give users more control of their stream!
Allow taking videos while and after streaming.

We need more options for mixer, example, I would like to be able to select the Bitrate like to new app of twitch, select to resolution for my stream and the FPS need minimum 720p60 for Xbox One like to PS4
It would be great to be able to customize the mixer status overlay. With it being a solid bar it makes it hard to see while gaming, it just gets in the way no matter where you move it. If you could give us the option to make it translucent that would be a huge improvement. Also, there are only a few icons on the bar does it really need to be as long as it is? If you could clean it up so it's more streamlined that will also improve things.

Bitrate Options along with choice of Streaming Protocal, RTMP over FTL.
