Filter Games and Apps by Genre

With digital sales making it cheap and easy to amass a large library of content, it'd be nice to have an option to sort your library according to game genre. RPG, FPS, RTS, Adventure, Horror/Survival, etc.

Genre categorization in the Games and Apps section would be a vital improvement and I’ve been waiting for it for a LONG time. I’d also like to see some sort of cover flow as with the 360.

There are other organization options that would be nice, as well, such as organizing by full game or demo, by content ratings, or even by developer.

Basically, Games and Apps needs a lot of work. It sucks right now.

Perhaps if this tied into a user-generated tag system, we could search that way. I know that Xbox trying to moderate genres and all of that could be a bit challenging (they could even work well in concert). Tagging doesn't always work, but it might make this idea potentially more feasible.

My Games and Apps is where you manage your content, including downloaded games, games you have purchased but haven't downloaded, and your subscriptions. You can also update your games within My Games and Apps, filter and sort, view download progress, and manage your download queue.
