  1. Allow Audio Balance Adjustment for Users with Partial Hearing Issues

It'd be nice if some L/R audio balance features were exposed for those of us who have partial hearing issues in only one ear. Especially for a game like Hellblade, or even in the recent UI changes which have stereo effects.

    • Makaton Support Videos

With the introduction of the adaptable controller, the community has a chance to welcome new gamers into our community.
A lot of adults with learning difficulties can be quite isolated, not all of them have friends or family around them and most support workers do not have the time to learn Xbox related issues.
As an ambassador, it is part of my personal belief that to aid our community efficiently, we must find a way to communicate with them.
With that in mind, I propose that a series of support videos are created, videos which have not only a person…

      • Allow Keyboard Mapping for the Xbox Adaptive Controller

The new Adaptive Controller has a lot of potential but despite being windows 10 compatible you can't map keyboard commands to it which limits what could be a fantastic device not only for gaming but also education.

        • Audio Description in Movies and TV for Vision Impaired Users

For movies and TV, provide Audio Description audio tracks for those who are blind or have low vision, and cannot see what is happening on the screen.

Additionally, give an option to play this audio track either through main audio output, or over a connected headset, so the visually impaired viewer can take in the audio description without forcing others with whom they are watching content to also listen to the audio description. Would enhance the "Together" experience.

            • Ability to map multiple inputs to the same button

For some motor impaired gamers, the requirements to press multiple buttons simultaneously can be a significant barrier. For example, pressing two buttons together to execute a throw in a fighting game.

A solution is to allow more than one action to be assigned to a single physical button. For example, console level remap allowing players to assign pressing A to instead register A and X simultaneously.

              • Allow Existing Accessibility Home Button Shortcuts to be Re-mapped

Different features would obviously be more useful to different people, and menu navigation can be a significant burden for some demographics, so a quick means of accessing the features most useful for a given player is valuable.

Accessibility shortcuts already exist, but they're a fixed set aimed at vision - home buttons shortcuts for zoom and turning text to speech on/off. Being able to choose what these shortcuts are shortcuts to would increase their usefulness.

For example remap would be a valuable piece of functionality to have the option of a shortcut to, to save the burden of motor impaired…

                • Allow Xbox magnifying Tool to Expand One Direction at a Time

I really love the xbox magnifying tool, and it has been very useful for me personally. The one thing I would love to add to is to have a button that allows you to upscale a game in one direction only if you want to. Like if i wanted to upscale a game horizontally only (instead of upscaling both horizontally and vertically) since sometimes that is all i want and the screen looks weird otherwise.
