  1. My Games & Apps Should Only Show Approved Games for Child Accounts

Can an option be added to hide all age restricted games on the Xbox when a child logs in.

If a parent logs in as well, then they could allow/unhide a game if it is not showing up.

    • Allow Adult Accounts to Approve Child Account Requests Remotely

Having multiple xbox one's in our household makes using parental controls frustrating. If I am using my xbox one and my child needs my approval to use netflix for example, i am required to sign in on his xbox temporarily to approve such activities which then signs me out of my xbox and kicks me off whatever I was doing. Allowing an adult account to sign in to their childs xbox without kicking the adult off their own console would be greatly beneficial.

      • Allow Adult Accounts to Identify Where Content is Purchased

Kids sometimes share account information or log into each others xbox. Sometimes - they forget to log out and this may be the source of unrecognized charges on your account. It would be great to be able to identify what console each purchase was made from in the order history on the account

        • Implement Offline Screen Time Restrictions

Setting a screen time schedule for a child only works if the console is online. If you take it offline and restart it, the restriction no longer works.
Have the schedule be saved and enforced offline on the console, or implement local setting restricting usage based on a schedule.

          • Allow Parental control over Club access

I have discovered that there are several public groups that contain graphic content. For example, a quick search of "trending groups" includes several anime groups with very ****** pictures on their feeds, and a couple of "**** women" groups with similar content. Whether or not a family member is allowed to join a group, he can still easily access this content.

I changed my son's privacy settings to see created content from friends only, which solved the access problem. These clubs can still be viewed, but their feeds now say that no one has posted anything. Unfortunately it also prevents…

            • Allow Parents to Set Console Restrictions on Downloading and Managing Content

Like how Windows 10 prevents other users from installing apps, changing system settings, and the like via UAC prompts, it would be nice to have the same options available on the XBOX One. A personal example of mine would be prevent younger family members from deleting games and saved data. Basically, an admin account for the console.

              • Allow Parents to Approve Friend Requests for Child Accounts From Their Accounts

I have disabled Friend Request (Sending/Receiving) on my Childs Account.

Would be great if I could log into my Account either on Xbox One/Windows 10/Xbox App and Add a Friend to their Accounts.

The only way of doing this at the moment is to go into the Settings and Allow Friend Request Add the Friend then Disable it again, which is a lot off messing about.

                • Approve items for kids using parent's phone app

I don't like that I have to enter my password on the Xbox ever time I need to approve something for my kids. The kids and their guests started to memorize my password so now I make everyone in the room turn around. It would be much easier if I could just approve using the Xbox app already on my phone.

                  • Allow games to read allowed rating

This requires developers and the ESRB to buy into the idea but it would be fantastic to allow developers to adjust the content in games based on the maximum allowed rating for the user. I would like my kids to be able to play some T rated games without language for example - E10 mode.

                    • Add ability to block ALL apps, including Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge cannot be blocked like other apps can. This allows access to the internet and blocking options within the app are insufficient and do not adequately protect kids from inappropriate material.

                      • Require parent account passcode to reset Xbox console

Savvy teens can reset console and create new account, thus bypassing all parental controls. THIS RENDERS PARENTAL CONTROLS USELESS.

                        • Allow Parents to Prevent Specific Purchase Restrictions such as Backwards Compatible Titles

Children’s and teens accounts should be able to purchase Xbox 360 games on Xbox one. They can buy 18 certificate games but not pegi 3 games in the 360 market place.

                          • Allow Parents to Prevent All Downloads on Child Accounts

In family settings we need an option to disable downloads due to isp data caps. Kids now days are notorious for having the attention span of a gnat. Constantly deleting and downloading games puts a heavy strain on the data usage.

                            • Allow child accounts to be members of more than one family

Accounts can only be part of one family. Parents may have more than one child, and sometimes parents get divorced. It would be beneficial to the child to be able to have membership in more than one family.

I don't want my ex wife to have access to any of my data/usage/information/activities, or my daughter's. She only requires access to my son's info. Would it be reasonable to suggest that my son should be able to have two adults associated with his account under separate families?

                                • Allow Gold privileges to roam with child accounts

So in our household we have two xboxes, with three kids. Two from my first marriage and one from my current marriage.

When my steps-son goes and visits his dad, he loses all the gold access that is granted by the "home" xbox.

This idea is to simply allow gold privileges to "follow" child accounts regardless of whether they are on the "home" xbox or not. This would benefit houses that have more than two xboxes in the household as only one gold subscription would need to be purchased, or in situations like mine where a child might be on…

                                  • Allow Primary User of Family Account to Quickly Add Child Accounts to Console

I’d like for Xbox to recognize my family during setup (and maybe after too) and give me the option to add other members at the same time, similar to how Windows 10 does it.

                                    • Allow Parents to Access a Child Account's Screen on Xbox

Allow the ability to see what is happening on a child's xbox anytime by allowing screen share to PC. This would not affect gameplay on the Xbox but just allow their screen to be seen from another device. This would be similar to streaming games to PC to play but only watching.

                                      • Require Xbox to have a user to use any App

Aside from limiting screen time and blocking certain games, why not require a user to be logged in prior to using any apps. I have a son who uses his Xbox one for Netflix and he can use the app without a profile logged in which defeats the purpose of screen times.

                                        • Let Parents Have the Option to Set Specific Game and App Screen Time Limits

Let me have the option to set specific screen time limits by game or app. Also, give parents the option to exclude games or apps from screen time limits entirely. There should also be notifications for when a specific amount of time has been spent in a game or app as well.
